Naylor and Walkden is a privately owned limited company established in 1947, with many years experience in the building and construction industry.

We have been successfully assessed for performance and competence by numerous organisations including NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Commercial Organisations and Statutory Bodies such as the Department of the Environment and the Home Office.

We typically undertake projects of up to £3,500,000 and are on the Constructionline approved list for projects to this value: NQS reference 7895. Constructionline is a database maintained by a Public-Private Partnership between the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, and Capita Business Services Ltd.

We have an experienced workforce of approximately eighty-five directly employed personnel, including our own joinery manufacturing department.

We are involved in the ‘Investors in People’ programme and are committed to the identification and provision of training for employees at all levels.

We have achieved the Endorsement of the National Federation of Builders for the successful implementation of Quality Management Systems and are working towards registration under BSEN ISO 9000.

Since our establishment in 1947, our capacity and experience within shopfitting has gone from strength to strength in terms of both scale and range. Together with our strengths in general contracting, we deliver a quality shopfitting service which goes far beyond the limitations of many traditional shop fitting contractors.
