offices and cloakroom refurbishment

The brief from Boots located in Newcastle City Centre was to construct a single story office facility and administration extension for its northern Directors and to refurbish the existing office, canteen and cloakroom facilities. Following the Boots corporate blueprint, Naylor and Walkden set about completing this project in a little over three weeks. Following construction of a open plan office incorporating three Directors offices, a meeting room and 15 workstations the team then set about removing from the existing facilities all surface fixed items, carpets, lighting, accessories and floor coverings. |
They then carried out a comprehensive ‘deep clean’, refurbishment and redecoration of the canteen, staff room, cloakroom, offices, toilets and installed new furniture and fittings based on the pre-agreed specification. Working around the store’s opening times meant that there was minimum disruption for Boots customers and staff. The result is a clean, bright and airy office environment which the staff find pleasurable to work in. |
