This design and build project at The Royal Preston Hospital was for a four story Education Centre. With a project value of £2.6m, Naylor & Walkden employed the Mersey Design Group as architects and Paul Moy Associates (PMA) was contracted to undertake all the mechanical and electrical works as these would be extensive throughout the building. For this design and build project PMA worked closely with the design team to provide a cost effective solution to the clients brief. |
A thermal model of the building was also provided to ensure part L2A compliancy and also the specification required for the glazing modules that were effecting the South facing fenestration. Naylor & Walkden won the project based on both design and price. The proposals included two fully equipped training theatres. |
