Fundamental to the evolution of Naylor & Walkden and indeed the heart of the organisation is our highly equipped, in house joinery manufacturing department. The department is capable of producing both bespoke and volume work at very short notice and has evolved into a very successful commercial entity in its own right.

The department is licensed to manufacture fire certified doorsets and produces fitted furniture compliant with Health Technical Memorandum specifications associated with health care projects.

Ecumenical Gothic style fretwork, ornate spiral staircases, bars and backfittings, doors and windows, commercial and domestic furniture, bespoke kitchen units and much more, are all carefully produced.

The versatility of our production staff enables us to not only produce works of high quality but also to install them should clients so require.

We are very proud that the joinery department will take on board projects that are very complex and testing. One of our exceptional strengths is the ability to take on boat work as this type of woodwork is highly specialised. With our location being very close to a marina, we are cultivating work from this sector as the leisure craft industry grows.
