In contrast to new build, refurbishment and alterations work as the terms imply, deals with existing buildings and their services installations. The specialist skills and know-how required to safely and successfully undertake alterations works are fundamental pre-requisites, particularly so when premises may be partially occupied or open to members of the public.

As with our new build contracting operations, our experience with refurbishment works and building alterations has been acquired over many decades. In addition to basic construction, other key aspects such as public safety, protection of existing live services installations, localised isolation of existing services, maintenance of structural integrity, control of noise and nuisance, observation of working restrictions and the like, are all managed as a matter of course by long serving and highly experienced members of our site management team.
